Leader of Teaching & Learning

YEAR 12 - TRIAL HSC

  • All students must attend their exam at the published time.
  • In the event of illness, you must phone the College before an exam;
  • a medical certificate must be  provided when returning to College; and
  • an Application for Consideration of an Assessment Task (blue form) filled in and submitted to Mrs Maxworthy.

Year 12 students have made every effort to take the opportunity to revise over the break, and a thanks goes out to the generosity of teachers who hosted study sessions. For most subjects, the Trial Examination is a significant proportion of the final school based assessment mark.

The 5 P’s adage, Prior Preparation Prevents Poor Performance, is a reminder to those students, that it is never too late to study and preparing well is an antidote to stress.

During this time many students will also be putting the finishing touches on Major Works and Projects. Term 3 is characteristically a very busy one and I encourage all students to have the stamina and organisation to meet the requirements for each course.
