Parent Support Programs

The Manningham Council have the following free parenting and support programs on offer that may be of interest for you.

 

Who’s in Charge: An 8 week program to reclaim respect and calm in your family.

This program is designed for parents or carers of young people (8-17 years) who are out of control, violent and defiant.

It is based in Chadstone and starts on Tuesday April 24th from 7-9.30pm.

Talking Teens: Helping your kids cope in a chaotic world

This 5 week program is designed for parents and carers of young people aged 12-19 years.

Learn to talk so they will listen, stay connected, support them to cope in a chaotic world.

It is based in Blackburn and starts on Monday 14th May

Growing Resilient Kids: A 5 session program for parents of children 3 to 13.

This program is designed to help your child deal with anxious feelings, manage change and stay connected.

It is based  in Park Orchards and starts on Mondays from 10am - 12 noon.

Dads Matter: A 6 session program for Dads to help their children to thrive

This program is designed to help Dads understand their role in their child life, set rules and consequences and develop and deepen your relationship with your child.

It is based in Boronia and starts on Thursday 3rd May 7-9pm.
