2018 HPV Racing Team
At Cobram Secondary College we strive to achieve and to push, so why not challenge yourself even more! This year our HPV Racing team has taken on a ‘three’ theme due it being our third year in the program. As a team we will ride 3000km, raise $3000 in sponsorship (monetary, materials, food and services) all throughout the duration of term 3. ‘Challenge 3000’ as it’s affectionately known, has been set-up by Miss DeMoel as a way to motivate the team, with incentives along the way, and if completed in time, an unknown prize for those who contribute to the challenge.
In addition to Challenge 3000, the HPV Racing team are hosting a Bunnings Sausage Sizzle on Saturday 11th August in Yarrawonga, and this will go towards our $3000. So please come along and help us achieve our goal of completing the outrageous challenge we’ve been set.
Anyone interesting in contributing to the challenge please contact Miss Megan DeMoel via email on demoel.megan.j@edumail.vic.au, or phone on 5871 1700.
School Council Vacancy
A casual vacancy has opened up for a parent member of the School Council. An election is to be conducted for a casual member of the school council. This is a temporary position with the term ending in March 2019. The elected casual member is eligible to nominate for a full 2 year term on the School Council again in 2019. This is a great opportunity for parent’s thinking about nominating for council but were unsure of what is required as a member.
Nomination forms are available at the General Office at the School must be lodged by 4.00 pm on 2nd August, 2018. The ballot will close at 4:00pm on 3rd August, 2018.
For further information on School Council Membership please contact Business Manager, Adrian Zonneveldt on 03 58 711 700.
