Special Messages for Parents

Uniform Update from the Principal
Dear Parents,
In 2017 Calrossy introduced a new full school sports uniform, following extensive consultation between stakeholders. Whilst it was before my arrival, I commend the process and the resulting uniform, that looks good and is now used from Prep to Year 12. The transition period is over and it is now the sports uniform proudly worn by boys and girls of all ages.
With the support of the Calrossy P & F and school clothing suppliers Noone, we have commenced a consultation process to consider future options of our school-day uniform, across the age groups from Kindy through to Year 12.
The intention is to select a new uniform that provides some continuity between Primary and Secondary, realises cost savings to our families and one that promotes the image and culture of Calrossy as one School.
We are endeavouring to balance all considerations in this matter, including our history, cost, the new Calrossy Crest, our harsh climate, best colours for certain ages, contemporary clothing design, student comfort and a design for all body shapes.
Discussions are currently at the concept stage and no decisions have been made. Students will be involved at appropriate stages. Parents should note that any proposed changes will involve a lengthy transition process and extensive notice.
Input through the P & F is welcome. You may either email pandfcalrossy@calrossy.nsw.edu.au or attend an upcoming meeting.

AIS Survey
Dear Parents,
We are seeking your feedback on various aspects of the school. A survey has been prepared by the Association of Independent Schools (AIS) which should provide Calrossy’s leadership with valuable information. It would be most appreciated if you could spend the 20 minutes (approx.) the survey takes to add your perspective to the information gathered.
One parent of each child should have received an email in the past few days from AIS NSW. This email contains a unique link to the online survey. The survey needs to be completed in a single sitting, any time between Tuesday 3 March and Friday 13 March. If you did not receive the email please check your spam/junk folder for a message from Clara Cheung, or email admin@calrossy.nsw.edu.au.
