Extend OSHC News

Hello Everyone! (:
This week at before and after school care students have really enjoyed hama beads – making all sorts of colourful creations using idea cards and their own imaginations!
On Thursday we made berry coconut muffins. Charlotte was our activity leader and was awesome at allocating roles and responsibilities for the group. Each person in the group were able to measure, mix and pour ingredients into the batter. Students have been enjoying having consistent cooking experiences such as healthy muffins weekly.
We also created a Harmony Tree in recognition of Harmony Day on Thursday 21st of March. On Tuesday we ran a Friendship Scavenger Hunt, where children answered questions about their Extend peers – this was a lot of fun and the children are excited for more scavenger hunts based on their interests.
This week for our enrichment program students made their own Olympic medals out of salt dough. Each child's medal is as unique as them, all being different shapes and sizes. We are going to paint them in week 9!
If you have any suggestions or new ideas for before and after care add it to our light bulb display using a whiteboard marker!
