Chess Tournament

Congratulations to the team of students who participated in Wednesday’s Chess Tournament at Mont Albert Primary School.  Competing against students from eleven different schools made for an exciting competition. After seven rounds of competition the Mount View team finished second on 22 points behind Waverley Christian College on 24.5 points.  In third position came Christchurch School, followed by St. Andrews, Mont Albert PS, Bialik College, Highvale PS and several others.

A special well done to the entire team who supported each other throughout the competition, win, lose or draw.  As ambassadors for the school, the students were first class.
