Prep Learning Community

In the Prep Learning Communities we have all learnt lots, worked hard and had fun whilst learning at home but have been so excited to be back at school with all our teachers and friends. 

One of the things we have been learning about during our Positive Climate for Learning Sessions this term is what our Value of Commitment means and how we can show it. 

We show commitment when we try hard. – Sophie

We show commitment when I try something new even though I might be a bit scared. – Juni

We show commitment when I try again. – Eamon 

We show commitment by being persistent. – Nawoka 

In addition to this we have been learning about the personal strengths of persistence and being brave. To practice being brave we read the story ‘The Very Brave Bear’ – by Nick Bland and made our own brave bear masks. So this week when you are out and about Armstrong Creek, keep a look out for some very brave (little) bears.
