CHILDREN IN CARS WITHOUT BOOSTERS

All children are individuals and as such come in all different shapes and sizes and grow at different rates. Legally, children aged over seven can travel in an adult seatbelt or in a booster seat, however, it is not recommended to allow your child to use an adult seatbelt until they have outgrown their booster seat. The National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) guidelines recommend a minimum height of 145cm to travel with an adult seatbelt. According to the RCH report a mere three percent of parents are aware of this information.
