CIS

SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT TEAM

Many of you will be aware that we are a CIS-accredited school. What does this mean?

In 2014 we applied to the Council of International Schools for international accreditation. After a rigorous self-study, a process requiring us to measure ourselves against 65 international standards of education, we were granted membership of CIS in 2015. Since that time, our journey of continuous improvement has been guided by the School Improvement Team. For the record, we are Pitsa Binnion, Michael Kan, Richard Long, Kellie Felmingham, Peter Quinn, Harriet Barrow, Adrian D’Ambra, Cherie Marks, Brock Lynch, Phil O’Brien, Emma Mullane and me, Simon Hughes.

In future editions of the newsletter we will be informing you of our progress in ensuring that your child’s education remains engaging and relevant. We will also keep you posted on our quest for re-accreditation in 2020.
