ATHLETICS CARNIVAL

This year's Athletics Carnival is going to take place in a different format to previous years. Instead of the whole school community coming together to compete at Duncan Mackinnon Reserve, we will be holding smaller modified carnivals for the Year 7 & 8 students during week 1 & 2 of term 3 sport.

Students will participate in mini carnivals on the school oval during sport on Tuesday and Friday afternoons. 

On Tuesday 14 July will see 7A-H compete in the Athletics Carnival whilst 7I-P participate in a sports event. Then on Tuesday 21 July 7I-P will compete in the Athletics Carnival with 7A-H participating in the sports event.

On Friday 17 July, 8A-H will compete in Athletics with 8I-P participating in a sports event. Then on Friday 24 July 8I-P will compete in Athletics with 8A-H participating in a sports event.

Students will be competing for house points and a place on the McKinnon Athletics Team.

Students in Years 9-12 are invited to express their interest to be part of the McKinnon Athletics Team via a Google Form where they will need to submit their times and distances for their specific events. More details will be sent out next term.
