We have only been back in the classroom for a short time, but the junior classes are settling back into school routines really well! 

I asked the students in 2/3C what they thought about their parents/carers as teachers. Students mostly said they liked the home learning because they got to have snacks any time they wanted to, but they missed their friends. The teachers here at NPS are so happy to have the students back in our classrooms and we are so thankful to all of you parents and carers who did a great job in helping us to continue with schooling while we were all in the lock down situation. 

Question: Was your at home teacher a good teacher? 

Dad was a good teacher because he let me do free time all the time. 

Mum was a good teacher because she printed me out a maze and it was really hard but really fun. 

Dad was a good teacher because he made things easier for me.

Mum was a good and bad teacher because she had to do her study but she let me do not much work. 

Aunty M was a good teacher because she helped us a lot. 

Mum was a bad teacher because she helped my brother.

Dad was a good and bad teacher because he gave me lots of writing and times tables. 

Mum and Dad were a little bit good at teaching because they tried really hard to teach me. 

Mum was a great teacher because she knew what to do and she helped me when I was stuck. 

My sister and my mum were my teachers. Mum yelled at my brother for not doing his work and my sister gave us easy work. 

Mum was a good teacher because she was nice. 

Mum was kind of a good teacher because she was telling me how to learn how to read and write. 

Mum was a good teacher because sometimes when it was hard she helped me 

understand. 

Grandpa was a good teacher because he IS a teacher.

Mum was a bad teacher because she didn’t explain things but she tried really hard.

Mum was a good teacher because she helped me with my writing. 

Dad had to work and mum had to sleep so I came to school. It was weird.

Mum was a strict teacher because she made me do all the work and hardly helped. 

Mum was a good teacher because she made us finish our work when we didn’t want to.
