After school in the Blue Hall

Are you on the hunt for some great books?  Looking ahead to Christmas?  Come along to the Book Fair!  The Book Fair will not only build your home library, but build our school library as well.  The total amount of books sold will go directly to increasing the number of books in our school library.  This is a great opportunity that benefits both home and school.  Hope to see you there!

2019 Year Book orders

The Miners Rest Primary School and Miners Rest Kindergarten 2019 Year Book is available for order!

The Year Book highlights Miners Rest Primary School and Kindergartens yearly events and is a lasting memory of your child’s year at school.  Students and teachers all contribute; it therefore becomes an important part of the school’s history.

Don’t Miss Out!

The school is offering a professionally printed copy of the Year Book at $17.50 each.

Orders and full payment are due Friday 6th of December 2019.  Please note, late orders cannot be accepted after this date.

Year Books will be distributed to families on Wednesday 18th of December.

Commonwealth Bank Student Banking: Token Redemption Day

Due to the overwhelming success of School Banking, we are having ONE Token Redemption Day per term instead of children bringing in their tokens at different times. The Token Redemption Day for Term 4 2019 will be on Tuesday 19 November.

What can be claimed?

These items are currently available (as at 19/11/2019) until sold out:

* Arctic Owl Fluffy Keyring                      * Scratch Art Cards

* Icicle Slapband Ruler                             * Polar Pencils & Pencil Toppers

* Scented Stackable Highlighter          * Snowy Origami Set

                                   * Water Skimming Bounce Ball

What do you need to do?

Please bring in your 10 silver tokens or 1 gold token and redemption coupon in with your child’s School Banking by Tuesday 19 November. Only one of each reward is available per student per year.  If you need redemption coupons they are available in the office foyer. We will then order the reward and have it back to your child as soon as we receive it.

Thanking You.

Junior School Council

On Friday, December 6th the Junior School Council will be running a festive event to raise money to purchase new basketball rings for our school.  On this day, all staff and students can come to school wearing something Christmas related for a gold coin donation.  Some ideas include: a touch of tinsel, Santa Claus, a Christmas present, an elf, a Christmas themed tee shirt or a reindeer; please let your imaginations run wild!
