Principal's Message

2020 Is Underway....

As I mentioned in my opening letter the first few weeks we as a school set the standards for the year and need to ensure all students are respectful of themselves, others and our environment. We have spent a great deal of time developing the classes to best suit the needs of all children. Many of our classes are full and changes at this stage are difficult.

Our goal is for all students to achieve academic success whilst always focusing on developing the whole child. This is only possible if students and parents share the responsibility for student achievement with us. I encourage students to be prepared for class each day, participate, become involved in our school, stay organized, and give their personal best.

I would also like to take this time to thank the staff members at BAPS for their outstanding preparation for 2020. We could not have a more caring, dedicated and professional staff. Your support of their efforts motivates them even further to make the children’s educational experience productive, enjoyable and memorable. They are wonderful role models for our children. In addition to being outstanding educators, I truly appreciate them for being the wonderful people they are.

It is important that parents stay involved with their child’s education program, teachers, and school during the academic year. Communication is a critical component of a truly successful school/parent partnership. I encourage you to establish early positive communication with your child’s teachers.

As the partnership between home and school is so important to us it was wonderful to see so many of our parents at the 'Meet and Great'. As always our school prides itself on respectful relationships and please feel free to come and see one of our staff if you have any concerns or would like more information.

We will continue to do our best to let you know what is happening at BAPS. Please take the time to like our Facebook page as this is where our updates will be regularly made.

Please continue to remind our students how special they are.
