Year 10 Mathematics

GENERAL MATHEMATICS

In Year 10 General Mathematics, students enhance mathematical skills and techniques and contains varied approaches to problem solving. Students will develop their logical thinking and use of mathematical strategies around these topics through working on questions and problems as well as relevant investigative projects. This is the continuation of a pathway towards VCE General Mathematics in Year 11 and Further Mathematics in Year 12. There will be an emphasis on using algebraic expressions and graphing these expressions, statistics, probability, measurement, geometry and financial mathematics.
