Mittens for Injured Wildlife

Year 12 Vcal students responded to an emergency request to help the injured wildlife from the recent fires. The students worked as a team, learnt new skills and created some fantastic mittens for paws of the injured wildlife.  By the end of the day many students were experts on the overlockers.

The classroom resembled a production line as time was of the essence. 300 mittens and 60 bandages were packaged and sent off to "Warriors 4 Wildlife", hoping that our small contribution can make a difference. At the end of the day many exhausted students left feeling proud of their achievements.

Biggest Morning Tea

Students were trying out new recipes and developing new skills in preparation for the "Australia's Biggest Morning Tea".  The students certainly enjoyed tasting the end results.
