Year 8 News

Term 1

We have got off to a great start this term in year 8.  Students have settled well into their new classes and are working hard. As a year level we are currently finishing a number of Performance Tasks with great models, clothing and meals being presented for the Humanities Medieval Research task and thorough essays being completed for the graphic novel Coraline.

We would like to acknowledge and congratulate are successful year 8 Captains in Mathilda Minnameier and Tom Hodgson and our Vice Captains in Jessica Randall and Jacob Tout. They are working to give the year 8 a greater voice in the running of the school and are showing great leadership in their role so far.

The upcoming Camp to Rawson Village is rapidly approaching in week 2 of term 2 (Group 1: 29th of April to 1th of May / Group 2: 1st to 3rd of May) and this an exciting opportunity for students to challenge themselves and foster positive relationships. We are all looking forward to it!
