From The Classroom

Education Week

This year, the theme for education week was Celebrating Careers and about celebrating careers and pathways that will make our students' dream job come true.

As we showcased all we have to offer our students on our Open Morning and Afternoon, I reflected on some of the many opportunities our students enjoy at B.P.P.S.

For example -

- learning how to communicate respectfully and honestly in all modes;

- interacting with, and enjoying high quality literature;

- engaging in the Keen Green Team;

- being able to work and think as mathematicians;

- experiencing the creative endeavours associated with visual programming;

- learning the art of, for example, African Drumming;

- exploring environmental, ethical and social challenges associated with life in the 21st Century;

- participating in physical activity and learning about its impact on physical and mental health

Our students are being exposed to the broadest of curriculums. Our hope and aim is that this will spark a curiosity and enthusiasm in a part of life that they may pursue in the future; in essence 'make our students' dream job come true.'
