School Council

Canteen

School Council continues to progress planning for the re-opening of our canteen, investing significant time over past months seeking advice through the Department of Education and the Australian Schools' Canteen Network.  Council has a duty to ensure any future canteen business is financially sustainable, while also aligning with our school values of sustainability, health and wellbeing.  We recognise the valuable service a canteen can offer families and will continue to keep you informed.  Thank you for your patience.

Please see the Principal page for more details about our work to get a Canteen operating again at Boroondara Park PS.

Certificate of appreciation awarded to BPPS Councillors

School Council are thrilled to announced that two of our former BPPS Councillors have been recognised by the Minister for Education, the Hon. James Merlino MP for their service to BPPS on school council.

  • Colleen Stavrakis was on school council for 5 years and was a guiding force as our Treasurer for much of that time
  • Julie Dussin was on council for 8 years and was the conduit for our parents and friends committee and uniform shop operations.

Thank you! Thank you!

A very very big THANK YOU to the parents who have led and supported recent BPPS activities. These activities are so important for our kids and our BPPS families and friends, and would not happen without the generosity of time, expertise and resources offered by the following people.  Getting involved in our school community is a great way to connect with other parents and grow our BPPS community spirit, while also raising valuable funds for our school projects such as the oval redevelopment.
