Pink scones - Pink Stumps Day

Today we made pink scones for the pink stumps day.  Everyone was thinking we were adding strawberry milk but it was just food colouring! The class added jam and whipped cream on top to make it decorative.

We had a fun and engaging  experience which taught me lots of new kitchen techniques like kneading dough.

I loved making pink scones in food tech today.  Adding pink food dye to the scones was such a great idea and it made us all feel like we were involved in pink stumps day.  They looked fantastic and tasted amazing
