St Philomena’s Canteen has been in operation for a very long time! It exists to provide a service for our families, preparing and serving recess and lunch to the student community. Appointed Canteen Supervisors/ (Kristy Gray: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday Friday - Terry Anne Sharples: Wednesday) manage the canteen and are supported by parent/family volunteer helpers. Volunteer helpers are the lifeline of the canteen. We are reliant on them, and without them, the canteen struggles to function.
In 2016 the canteen roster has many spaces to be filled. We are asking and inviting anyone with spare time, or who could make a small amount of time, to indicate how they can help out. We recognise and understand time constraints and work commitments of our parent community. We would be grateful for any amount of time that you could offer. Even if you can’t commit to a regular day or time, a casual or on call roster might be an option for you.
