Busy times for all this term!
Prep Buddy program
It was with much excitement and trepidation that our preps met with their 456 buddies for the first time! We have many things planned across the year and can't wait to share our memories with you!
Interschool Sport
We've had highs and we've had lows, with Kylee resorting to bribing the bat tennis team with the promise of chocolates for a win (yet to honour the deal!). Jose and Lisa have had some impressive wins on the board in basketball and softball and it is great to see the teamwork and support that the students give to their teammates when competing against other local schools.
Year 6 News
We are seeking EOIs for parents wishing to assist with graduation preparations. This includes assistance to coordinate fundraising and graduation event organisation (decorating, logistics etc).

Year 7 Transition
High schools have started advertising their school tours on their websites and it's time to consider the big move that your child will be taking in 2024! We will update you on any news that we receive from the DET regarding the transition to high school in future newsletters and via Sentral. For any parents considering Coburg High School, please refer to the attached flyer about their Open Day.
Spanish for all!
All students in the 4-6 area have access to Duolingo School now. Students can access this at home in their own time to continue to develop their language skills in a fun way. We have also created a profile for families, and we encourage you to do it at home too! To log in, simply click on the links below, we will be checking and comparing the statistics of students and families, if you already have a Duolingo account and are learning Spanish, your account will remain the same, it will just be linked with the Familiares class. Ask your Spanish teacherif you have any questions.
