FATHERS DAY STALL

Next week we will be having a stall selling gifts for Father’s Day. Children will have the opportunity to purchase gifts for their dad ranging in price from $1.00 to $6.00. These will be available in the morning before school and first half of lunch outside the office.

The children always enjoy this ‘shopping’ experience. A flyer was sent home early this week featuring the products available and these were also shown to the children during this week.

You may wish to pre-select what they would like to buy with your child and write this on an envelope with the appropriate money inside. Their order will be filled and returned back to them each morning.  Otherwise children can bring some money to school and make their selections from the stall. A maximum of $10 is desirable.

Looking forward to some shopping fun.

SCHOOL SURVEY FOR PARENTS

An annual satisfaction survey of parents, students and staff will be conducted on behalf of all Catholic schools in the Diocese this term. The surveys are designed to gather feedback from parents, staff and students about our school and will be used to inform school improvement. Responses are confidential and individuals can not be identified. The surveys were launched via email on Monday 21 August using the email addresses supplied to the school.

MEADE STREET CROSSING

Parents are reminded that all students need to use the marked crossing if they need to cross to the other side of Meade Street. The crossing is near the church.

LOST PROPERTY

At the moment there is a lot of unnamed lost property in the box outside the office/staffroom. This includes jumpers, hats, sports jackets and plastic containers. If your child has lost anything this term please encourage them to call in to see if it is there.

If items are not claimed by the end of term they will be washed and  donated to St Vinnies.
