Student Achievements

Kalinda Kids shine!

Every day Kalinda kids are achieving great things in their classroom and yard, but we know that outside of school they are kicking goals as well (literally and figuratively)!

If your student has an achievement that you would like to share please send to Mrs. Hopkins so that we can celebrate them in the newsletter! Whether it is a sporting achievement, Karate grade, Cub badge or amazing new skill - we want to share it with our community.

Kalinda Tennis Stars

Submitted by proud mums Marianne, Rhoda and Beth

Kalinda kids Jace B-A, Ollie W, Aiden W (Grade 6) & Emmett G (Grade 3) made it to the semi-final for their division in tennis this season, playing for Burnt Bridge Tennis Club. All four kids played an excellent season and despite not progressing through to the grand final, can be really proud of how they played, both as individuals and as a team.

Tilly's Fundraising efforts

Submitted by proud mum Ruby

Tilly decided to bake her own choc chip sprinkle cookies on the weekend to raise money for the colour run. Playgrounds are important to her!

She made 34 cookies and sold them all to 11 grateful homes, for a gold coin donation.

Freddy decided he was better at sales and packaging, so come along to support the cause.

All in one afternoon we calculated fractions, baked, practiced our food safety, learned how to sell, and tallied our donations.

Their efforts raised just under $90!

This is a proud parent moment ❤️❤️
