Year 5&6

The Year 5/6 students have been modelling the relative size of and distance of the planets in the solar system. Students have created their own scaled model of the planets using playdough and have measured the distance of the planets from the Sun. 

 Year 3&4 

The Year 3&4 students have been investigating shadows and their movement throughout the day to learn about the Earth’s rotation. Students have participated in a range of activities including investigating shadows in the school yard, using torches and objects to explore the formation of shadows, and conducting an experiment to explore how shadows change during the day.
