Top Tip:  To have best access to Compass please make sure you "open in browser" from the drop down menu. 

To place an order for school uniforms via the Compass School Manager App, open the App on your device and click the menu (three stripes icon) option.  In the list, click 'Canteen'.

The Canteen screen has three tabs, Dashboard, Place Order and My Orders.  You can click the tab headers to go to it or swipe across to move between tabs.  The Dashboard tab will show you any upcoming orders. To place an order, move to the Place Order tab.  Click 'Select Date' and choose todays date.

Choose from the uniform menu to make your order.  Scroll through the available items and click on the one you would like to add to your order.  Adjust the quantity and then click 'Add Item'.  Continue adding items from the menu until you have added all you require.  At the bottom you will see the summary showing the number of items and the total.  Click 'Add Order' to proceed.  When you have finished creating orders, click the 'Confirm and Pay' option to proceed.  This will open the payment screen.

Halogen Leadership Day - Mrs Bartholomew

Last Tuesday I had the absolute pleasure of accompanying our 4 student leaders to the Halogen Young Leaders Day, held at the International Convention Centre in Darling Harbour. This day recognises the value our students have as the future leaders of our world. Over 5000 students attended the day and were treated to truly inspiring guest speakers. 

This years guest speakers included Chris Green (Captain of the Sydney Thunder BBL team), Caitlin Bassett (Past Australian Diamonds Netball Captain), His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley (Governer General), Nazeem Hussain (Comedian and Children's Book Author) and Dr Jordan Nguyen (Robotic Engineer). Speakers addressed their time in school, leadership experiences (positive and negative), challenges they have faced personally and how education has shaped the people they have become today. All speakers were thoroughly engaging and relatable to the students. They answered questions posed by the students and took time to meet and pose for pictures as well. 

Our student leaders were absolutely buzzing and inspired at the end of the day. Here are their favourite memories...

Joel Morris - "My Favourite speaker was Chris Green as he showed perseverance when he was injured for 3 months and kept training to come back as captain and an awesome bowler."

Cody Searle - "My favourite speaker was...they were all awesome...but my favourite one was Nazeem. He told lots of funny stories about how he wasn't very well behaved at school but once he found books he was stuck in them, and that led to him writing books."

Olive Dillon - "My favourite speaker was Nazeem because he taught me that life can be funny and it's a good way to learn. His comedy was out there but I enjoyed it and I am now reading his book."

THE COOLAMON CHALLENGE

SCHOOL FEES

Term one fees have been issued by the Catholic Schools Office (CSO), Armidale with your BPay details.  Regular payments can be set up directly from your bank account via Bpay or payments can be made through CompassPay.

ATTENDANCE 

It is a legal requirement that you log in to Compass to explain all absences within 7 days of your child being away from school, however it is so much easier if you attend to this on the day as soon as you receive the reminder.
