A Message from the Principal

Mrs Pauline Long

Kindness Corner

We are blessed to have so many wonderful students at our school. Today I would like to acknowledge some of our students who show particular kindness to our younger students. Thank you to Lily Brown, Hope Irvine, Jorja Jamieson, Rosie Lee, Ayla O’Rance, and Lachie Stockwell. It is a pleasure to watch you interact with our new Kinders and help them feel happy and safe at school.

Annual Improvement Plan (AIP)

Each year as a staff we collaboratively create an Annual Improvement Plan. We continually strive to provide the best possible education for your children and planning strategically helps us to achieve our goals. I presented our 2023 plan at our recent PT & F and School Advisory Council meetings.

A major focus of the AIP is to build strong teams within our community. Would you like to be more involved in our school community? If you love gardening please come along to our planning meeting tomorrow at 2.00pm in the school library. If you can’t make the planning meeting and still would like to be involved please phone Kate Thompson to let us know what you can do to assist.

ART Competition

I am coordinating the Art Competition now that Mrs Hofman has started her maternity leave. I am thrilled with the entries received so far but also encourage ALL students to enter. What a fun way to help those less fortunate than ourselves, as the gold coin entry fee will go to Project Compassion.

Canteen News

Congratualtions and thank you to Mrs Rachel Simkin for accepting the position of Canteen Supervisor. Please see the canteen section of this newsletter for further details.

Have a great week.
