Fun Run Update

First, I'd like to thank everyone who has been fundraising and sharing their children's profiles with friends and family. This is essential to our success in this fundraising event. In the three short weeks we have been fundraising we have 226 students with registered online profiles, 43% (133) of all students fundraising and we have raised a total of $15,147! An overall outstanding result!

However, we aren't quite there yet. We still need everyone's help to make sure we get to our goal of $20,000 which will go towards our new Outdoor Immersive Space. If you haven't started fundraising yet, now is a great time to get started and help us make one final sprint to meet our goal before the fundraising ends on the 6th April.

This week's challenge ends tonight at 9pm. Every student who has raised $100 will go into a draw to win 1 of 5 Canteen VIPs for a whole week. This means the winning students will get to choose 1 recess and 1 lunch item sold at the canteen counter every day for a week.

Also, the SRC is running a class poster competition to help raise awareness around our next incentive of setting a class goal. Each class who reaches the goal of $2000 will go into a draw to win a class pizza party. Be on the lookout for the most creative poster design which will be rewarded with a class ice block party.

Finally, a FAQ sheet will be sent out on Monday next week. This will have all the information you will need to ensure your child will have a memorable experience on the day of the Crazy Colour Fun Run. The event will start at 1:45pm for parents and carers who want to attend and cheer the kids on!

Thanks again for all your efforts. HAPPY FUNDRAISING!

State Election BBQ Fundraiser

This Saturday the P&C will once again be cooking up a storm so hungry voters can get their democracy sausage. Voting starts at 8am and we will be serving up a tasty breakfast right from the start; we'll keep cooking until everything is sold. We have a nice new BBQ this year and some lovely meats supplied by Websters. If democracy sausage is not your thing, then try a bacon and egg roll. Woolworths in Carlingford have been generous in their support for our BBQ this year, so this means more of your money spent on food will be going towards the school. Our focus at the moment is on raising funds to build a new immersive nature play area for the kids, so if you are feeling really generous when voting, why not try "The Lot" which is sausage, bacon and egg in a roll, and then top it off with a nice cold can of soft drink. Cash and card are both accepted.

Remember, voting on an empty stomach is never advisable, so we look forward to feeding as many within our extended school community this Saturday as possible. We have a number of parents from within the school volunteering on the day to make this a success, so please do come and say hello when you drop in to vote.  And don't forget, you can also buy a cake from the Band cake stall on the way out too.
