Assessment and Reporting Update

Our Interim Reports will be published on Compass on the 27th of March. Teachers are referring to a ‘Work Habits’ rubric to ensure consistency in assessing students learning behaviours across the school. This rubric has also been developed to help students and parents understand the areas of assessment. Students will have an opportunity to discuss this rubric with teachers in class.

Parent Teacher Interview bookings will open on Compass on the 27th of March for Year 12 and the 29th of March for Years 7 to 11. Our Parent Teacher Interviews will be held on Tuesday, 4th of April

Feedback for Common Assessment Tasks (CATs) for Years 7-10, VCE SACs and VCAL tasks are now available on Compass Learning Tasks. You can expect the following feedback throughout the semester:

  • Year 7-10: Minimum 3 CATs for Core Subjects (English and Mathematics) and 2 CATs for all other subjects per Semester
  • VCE: at least 1 task for each School Assessed Coursework (SAC) for each VCE subject. The actual SAC is not uploaded, this learning task is created for the comments or rubric to be available to students and parents.
  • VCAL: at least 1 task per term for each VCAL strand.

This feedback will be in the form of comments and/or an attached Assessment Rubric. Please check Compass posts for more information and also the below steps on how to access feedback.
