Rural educational excellence through innovation, passion and collaboration

Ngala kaadatj nidja Nyoongar Ballardong Boodja

We acknowledge this is Nyoongar Ballardong Country

What a fantastic term we have had indeed. I would like to acknowledge the hard work and effort put in by all of our students and staff in what has been a highly successful 10 weeks.

Looking back on this term, it is hard to comprehend how much we have fit in and the opportunities that have been on offer to our students so far. However, next term is absolutely jam-packed full of fantastic curricular and extra-curricular activities which I have no doubt our students are very much looking forward to. I cannot emphasise to students enough that it is up to them to make positive choices in order to maintain eligibility for events such as Country Week.

Work Health and Safety

Next term our specific focus will be on Workplace Health and Safety (WHS). Maintaining a safe work environment is non-negotiable and there is an expectation that all staff and students demonstrate behaviours and actions that keep themselves and others safe. With the new Industrial Manslaughter legislation, it is essential that all stakeholders are aware of and uphold their obligations in regard to WHS.

Student/Parent/Teacher Interviews

A reminder that we have our Student/Parent/Teacher interviews during pickups tomorrow (last day of term). It is not too late to book in a time. Please arrange with the front office ASAP.

2024 Applications for Enrolment

We have been busily interviewing student applications for 2024 in preparation for Round 1 Offers to be sent out at the end of Week 2 next term. If you know of anyone contemplating applying and would like to be considered for Round 1 Offers, please encourage them to complete the application process ASAP so an interview can be arranged early next term.

Thank You

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all stakeholders within our college community - our extremely dedicated staff, supportive parents, College Board, Ag Advisory, P&C and of course our fantastic students who make our jobs as rewarding as they are.

Wishing all of our college community a fantastic Easter break and good luck to those who are about to get underway with seeding.

Congratulations to Zarah and Kallen who have been selected to compete in the National WorldSkills Championship in Melbourne later this year!
