Dear Woodmans Hill Community,

It gives me great pleasure to introduce myself as the next principal of Woodmans Hill Secondary College. 

I feel proud and privileged to have been appointed to lead such a wonderful school in the next phase of its growth and development. I know the great amount of work that has gone into shaping Woodmans Hill into the place it is today, with a dedicated team who want the very best for your child; improving learning and wellbeing outcomes for all students year after year.

I am excited to be able to lead the school into the future. Please be rest assured I will do my very best to make a difference to every young person; your child, and help them seize the opportunities life presents them. 

What has resonated with me in my early experiences of Woodmans Hill, is the desire to ensure each child reaches their potential.  This mission as well as, the values of Respect, Determination and Excellence are closely aligned to my personal and professional beliefs. I hope to demonstrate these to you in all of our interactions. 

I bring a range of school leadership experiences to the role and my hope is that my appointment as the new principal of Woodmans Hill will be a seamless transition for the whole community. I have already begun the handover with Stephan Fields, working alongside him and other members of the team. 

I am really looking forward to working with you to build strong, productive and supportive relationships. These relationships are so valuable, and I believe are the key to happy, healthy and successful students and adults.

I look forward to meeting and working with you all in the coming months. If we each give our best, then Woodmans Hill Secondary College will continue to improve, thrive and develop.
