Year 6 Grip

Leadership Day

On Monday, our Year 6 students participated in the GRIP Leadership Conference in Armidale. The students worked alongside Year 6 students from schools in Armidale, Uralla, Rocky River, Inverell, Glen Innes & Bundarra to learn how to develop their leadership skills. The conference focused on how to step up and show integrity in their work as School Leaders and encouraged students to think of ideas to make our school an even better place for all. Students will then meet again in the classroom in a few days time to collate their ideas and present them to the Principal to put their ideas into action. Congratulations to Mackenzie, Edward, Noah and Henry who were asked to step up on stage and participate in some fun activities. You all were very brave and showed great pride in your participation.

A huge thanks must go to Costa for helping to fund the cost of the Year 6's participation in this event and to O'Connor Catholic College for assisting with transporting the students to and from the venue.
