Focus on Learning 

Mathematics: 

Year 3/4 has been working on solving subtraction algorithms and problems. We have been focussing on being able to set out our work neatly and in the correct place value house. The students are always asked to explain HOW they got their answer, rather than just the answer.

Science:

This term in Science we are finishing our unit on investigating Living Things.  The students have been researching bees and how they impact on the environment and all life. Here are some examples of their work.

Literacy: 

This term we have been learning about imaginative texts.  We have been learning how make character descriptions, describe a setting and use dynamic dialogue.

Sport: 

Year 3/4 students have joined with Stage 3 in our Sport time, to learn the Athletics skills needed for our upcoming carnival.
