BBQ Fundraisers
What did you do on the weekend? For Mr Sperling, it was a weekend not cooking sausages! For two weekends in a row Michael organised fundraising barbeques for the school – first at Bunnings and then on voting day.
The school raised nearly $1,500 from the Bunnings Sunday and $700 from the democracy sausages. This money will go toward improving student facilities in the yard to cater to our continually growing student population.
On behalf of the school council, thank you Michael, and to all of those who contributed. If you dropped off supplies, organised local support from supermarkets, or signed up for a shift of turning sausages on the hot plate, your time and energy is very much appreciated.
