Principal's Update

Parents, Teachers & Friends Association (PTFA)

We would like to re-establish our Parents, Teachers & Friends Association. The PTFA provides:

• Fellowship for parents
• A forum for discussion
• Fundraising for school projects and equipment
• Services to the school community

The Association is led by an executive team of President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer. We are calling for nominations for these four roles.

• President: Responsible for the oversight of the PTFA, running the General and Annual meetings, participate in formal College functions and liaising with the Principal.
   
• Vice-President: General support and deputy to the President when unavailable.
   
• Secretary: Responsible for minutes, correspondence and other secretarial duties of the Association.
   
• Treasurer: Responsible for managing the financial affairs of the PTFA. All funds received and accounts to be paid are to be directed through the designated College employee. Will present a financial report for each PFTA meeting outlining income and expenses for the reporting period. Where necessary a budget is to be prepared for major events.

To nominate for one of the above positions, please download and complete a copy of the PTFA Guidelines and Nomination Form. Nominations close on Friday 10 June 2022.
