DISTRICT CROSS COUNTRY

Our cross country team have been training on Tuesday and Thursday mornings before school. Most have been attending so well done! Hopefully the training will mean we have some students who make it to Regional level! Thanks also to Lulli and other staff who are getting to school early to run these training sessions.

GRADE 3/4 GOLF CLINICS

Today Grade 3/4 had their third golf clinic. What a fantastic experience they are having with Linda and Kate. We are hoping to have the ladies back again in Term 4 if we are successful with our Sporting Schools Grant.

JUNIOR CRICKET CLINICS

Our Juniors had their second cricket clinic this week. We are so grateful to the Positive Start Program, which has been funded by the government, for providing this opportunity. They will continue their clinics in Week 4 and 5. Parents please remember your child will need to wear their sports uniform and bring their drink bottle.

SFS on FOX FM – BREKKY IN THE BURBS.

This morning Lynbrook hotel hosted “Fifi, Fev and Nick – Brekky in the burbs”. Staff, Parents and children from SFS headed down to take part in the celebrations. There was free brekky and coffee as well as lots of free prizes and entertainment. Children were also put on the radio singing an Ed Sheeran hit called “Bad Habits”. It was a great opportunity to spend the morning with the community and share the excitement.
