Week 3 News

Again we were very lucky to have so many afternoons where the children could get outside and play on the playground or kicking a ball around on the grass.

We know as we get closer to the Winter Solstice that outside play will be less favourable due to the “shorter days” and colder temperatures with averages of 17 and 15 degrees for May and June respectively.

With the changes to the weather, we also start changing our menu for Afternoon Snack to incorporate some warm Autumn and Winter foods.

This week we made some yummy pizza using Afghan bread for the base.  We also had jacket potatoes with butter, sauce and cheese.

Winter Vacation Care

We are in the planning process of organising the Winter Vacation Care.

We always like to try and create a program that comes from the suggestions from Family members and children.

If there is something you or your child would like to explore, then flick us an email kkids@sfslynbrook.catholic.edu.au send a message to 0411 295 273 or come see us in LS1.
