Recently I discovered a new member of our WHS whanau waiting patiently in our senior school. Obviously, he hasn't had a good meal for a while, so it's not surprising he looked so pale.

I also discovered our new family member has a younger sibling in our junior school. We have a cleaning crew, a grounds crew, and apparently, we now have a skeleton crew - sorry I couldn't help it...

Room 31 also has a new family member - Kai, a beautiful mixed breed pup (definitely has some Labrador in him). Kai is 13 weeks old so he has had his first two vaccinations and is due his last one in 3 weeks time. He will be in a safe space in their classroom. Kai has already proved a great hit with the children and also a great resource to encourage the children to talk, research and write.
