Picking up early? 

Early Departures 

It is preferable that all private appointments for students, including medical appointments, are made outside of school hours. 

If you need to pick up early, notify THE OFFICE in the morning via phone (85606079) or email:

(dohertys.creek.p9.co@education.vic.gov.au). 

There are a lot of interuptions during the day via our loud speaker and we need to reduce them for a number of reasons. We don't want to be interupting the teaching within the classrooms; this is very distracting for the students and teachers and does not support the students. 

Also we have a number of families who live around the school and do night shift and we want to be respectful to them as well. Respectfully we would like the parent community to be senstive to this and if they are picking up their children early, to do at specific times. 

If you need to pick up your child could you please do it at 11.15amjust before lunch; 1.30pm just before recess or 2.10pm straight after lunch. This would support us greatly.

Just a reminder that we would like all children at school every day for the whole day to ensure that they are learning and progressing so an early pick up should not happen often and be avoided.
