Fantastic school spirit shown by the SVC Sharks by playing back to back games with the Crays after a late forfeit. Well done boys!

A great game by both teams.  All listened well to the umpire this week and the Crays came away with a win!

Awesome afternoon in the sun.  The boys are growing in confidence and having lots of fun. A great win for SVC.

The cricket season came to an end this week with some great matches played as part of the Year 7&8 Development Programme and Year 9&10 roster with Hutchins. 

Year 7&8 

SVC 1 5-82 lost to Hutchins 2-85

SVC 2 3-127 defeated Hutchins 6-78

Sporting Achievement

Congratulations to 1st XI Captain Joseph McGann (Year 10) who over the next week will represent Tasmania at the National Under 19 Cricket Championships in Mackay. He is joined by brother Tom who was Captain of the College’s Year 9&10 team in 2019.

Rowing Report  

March 26: Head of the River

The College’s rowing team competed at the 103rd Head of the River at the Lake Barrington International Rowing Course on March 26. In perfect conditions, our rowers raced with excellence, retaining the Junior Boys Aggregate Shield for the second year running. The team also took home line honors in five events, the most of any school in the junior age group. 

 

Whilst all boys rowed well and can be extremely proud of their efforts on the day, some notable performances are worth highlighting:
