Sacred Heart Junior Athletic

On Friday 8th April, our students in Foundation - 2 will participated in the Sacred Heart Junior Athletics. This will take place at Sacred Heart. The event will start at 11.30 am and finish at 1.20 pm. Children will participate in running, throwing and jumping events. Parents, guardians and grandparents are invited to come along and watch their children in action. The activities will take place on the school oval. Could all parents/guardian please enter the oval via the Gym Gate on Pound Road.

Swimming Program

In Term 2 our children in Years 1-4 will participate in the Sacred Heart Swimming Program. This will take place at Heather’s Swim School. The timetable is as follows:

Tuesday

11.30 am Yr 3 KM

 12.00 noon Yr 4RS

12.30 pm Yr 4AW

1.00 pm Yr 4DC

 1.30 pm Yr 3AH

 2.00 pm Yr 3MR

 Wednesday

11.30 am Yr 1 LB

12.00 noon Yr 2LM/AD 

12.30 pm Yr 2RB

1.00 pm Yr 2FM

1.30 pm Yr 1MS

2.00 pm Yr 1MC

We do need parent’s helpers to assist with the swimming program e.g. walking with the children to the pool etc. Just a reminder that parent helpers need to present to the office a current Working With Children Check and Vaccination Certificates. 

Could parents who are able to assist please indicate which dates via the activity consent in  PAM?

Greater Western State Team Trials

The Greater Western Football trials have been postponed. I will be in contact with parents to confirm the new date and time. 

Cross Country

Sacred Heart Cross Country age events will take place in the first week of Term 2. The holidays will be a good chance for children to do some training.
