Parents & Friends Update
Parents & Friends Association
Family Fun Night
'Many hands make light work' was the motto of the evening at our Family Fun Night BBQ. A hungry school community enjoyed the spoils of our school reared grass feed beef by way of burgers and sausages which were delicious. A selection of cool drinks were also sold (and subsequently sold out!) due to the extremely humid weather. The lucky keys all sold and the LeServe Family were the lucky winners.
Huge thank you to everyone who jumped on board to help out ensuring the night was successful.
Loch Foodies
Loch Foodies' will operate again this year and extend an open invitation for members of our school community to join them at The Burra Brewery on the 22nd March at 12.30pm. A Parents and Friends meeting will be hosted prior at 11am.
For those new to Loch PS - Loch Foodies is a casual group of parents and friends who meet once each term to share a casual lunch at a local venue. Its a lovely way to get to know one another better in a relaxed environment.
Athletics Carnvial
This year Parents & Friends will not be serving a hot lunch during the Athletics Carnival as they will be kindly assisting teachers during the Carnival with various tasks. Anyone able to assist on the day, that hasn't already come forward, please do so as any additional helpers would be most welcome.
Easter Raffle
Our Annual Easter raffle will take place later this term. Tickets are heading home with the students in the coming weeks. The winners will be drawn (5th April) at our end of term assembly starting at 1.30pm. Donations of items for the hampers are being sought and can be left at the front office.
The opportunity for families to purchase Hot Cross Buns through school will also be available; so do watch out for those order forms also.
