Cross Country

Warrnambool College held its annual cross country event on Monday the 29th of May. Great weather for running was an added bonus for the day, as the year 7 and 8 students ran during first period. They were followed by the year 9 and 10 students in second period. VCE students who wanted to compete ran during the lunch break. The 3km course took students along Cramer Street and through Albert Park, finishing back on the school oval. As with all cross country running, the course consisted of paths, grass and mixed terrain with students climbing hills and descending them to go the distance.

Well done to everyone who competed and earned points for their house. The team for the Warrnambool Division cross country event will be added to a compass event later today and participants notified through email and text. Congratulations to the following students who are the age group champions for 2019. Your medal will be presented at your house assembly. The house cup will also be presented to the winning house at this assembly.
