Principal Awards

Japanese Day

Dear Parents, Guardians, Girls and Boys,

Japanese Day 2019 was an absolutely fantastic day! Children enjoyed the culture, food and music! We were entertained by our very own Soran Bushi dancers, Wadaiko Tenshi and our spectacular Wadaiko Rindo performers. Wadaiko Rindo were amazing in their electrifying performance and they encouraged other children to participate in Japanese drumming too.

All our wonderful staff dressed up in Japanese clothes. The children enjoyed being creative with Japanese art for Christmas. They sampled sushi and Japanese treats. Our staff were generously treated by Kung Fu Sushi owners, Annie and Daniel Ouyang, who gave us a delicious spread of Japanese cuisine. Thank you Annie and Daniel for your years of support and generosity.

Until next year’s Japanese Day comes around again, let us continue to study hard in Japanese and support our program at St Therese’s School.
