Wellbeing through Creativity
Wellbeing through Creativity
This term our Wellbeing Officer, Michelle Black is facilitating small focus groups of students participating in engaging fun activities. Students from our Junior Years Learning Community are learning how to get along, and work and play together in the Wellbeing through Creativity Program.
This week our Theme was 'The Sunflower'. Michelle and students talked about how the Sunflowers are growing everyday, and the way in which they always follow the Sun. Students participated in dancing and singing and learnt some songs about Sunflowers.
The students danced around the room with some sunflowers, which filled the space with colour and brought a lot of joy to the children's faces.
