Community News 

Formed in Mid 2020 and coached by Adrian and Stella Rowse (former St James Student)  this little team had a tentative start with all their games cancelled by COVID19.  Not deterred by this we regrouped early 2021 and commenced training at school at 8am Friday mornings.  The season started along with School this year and as it stands 5 weeks into the season the team are still unbeaten.  With a combination of height speed and agility this team has improved week on week culminating in a huge comeback victory on Sunday 28th Feb against a very skilled top of the table team.  Early in the first half the team was down by some 12 points and were feeling the first sniff of a defeat - however with some great coaching screaming from the sidelines and a never give up attitude the girls clawed back to win by one point!  There were tears all round and one very proud set of players and support crew!

Congratulations to our very own Miss Sarah Black - Year 6 Teacher,

whose football team won their Grand Final on Tuesday night this week.

Sarah claimed fame by being voted the Most Valued Player and kicked 4 goals to boot!
