Wellbeing

Early March, as a school community we celebrated ‘National Be Kind Day’. Of course we should show kindness everyday however the focus of the morning Homeroom session was to remind students of small acts of kindness are so easy and can make a big impact to someone elses day! We were reminded of the importance of being kind to others but also to ourselves as we navigate the challenges and exciting moments in life. We challenge our students, teachers and families to show small acts of kindness… kindness costs nothing and the impact can be lifechanging!

Being kind also includes our online activity. This a reminder of our responsibilities as citizens in the online world and the damaging effects that online bullying can have on young people. Please check-in with your daughters about their online activity, it is important that you know what they are engaging with.

Our Year 7, 11 & 12 students have returned from their Camp and Retreats and we thank them all for their engagement and willingness to participate. Camps and Retreats are vital in challenging them and developing social and emotional skills and we thank the staff for giving our students this opportunity.

A friendly reminder to our families that you can access Schools TV via the icon on our school website. Here you will find videos on various topics which will be updated throughout the year.
