Grade 7&8 Cricket Development

Some great skill and enthusiasm on display this week with over 50 boys involved in the Term 1 Cricket Development Programme. Next week we move into games against Hutchins (2), an internal game on the JPC Oval and a specialist training session in the nets.

Sailing

We are really encouraged by the large number of boys interested.

For those registered, the following dates have been locked in for our Sailing Development (Come and Try) sessions.

Session 1 - Monday March 1, 3.30 - 5.30 pm.

Session 2 - Monday March 15, 3.30-5.30 pm.

Session 3 - Monday March 22, 3.30-5.30 pm

Session 4 - Monday March 29, 3.30-6.30 pm, including wrap up BBQ.

All sessions will be conducted out of our Marine Education Centre, located next to the Austins Ferry Boat Ramp, Austins Ferry Road. Boys will be bussed down to the Centre by the College (rather than walking), to ensure they are ready to start by 3.30pm.

The SVC Sailing Development Programme will be run by experienced sailor Matt Cubit, along with the assistance of SVC staff and members of our SVC Sailing Race Team.

All boys should bring wetsuits (if you have one), towel and a change of clothes. Life jackets will be provided by the College.
