Interschool Volleyball

On Friday 15th March Shepparton High School took five teams to participate in the GMDSV Volleyball Competition.

In an impressive display of skill, our Intermediate and Senior Girls and Senior Boys won the competition for their age group getting through three games undefeated. They will now be heading to Albury on the 1st May to compete in the Hume Region Competition.

Congratulations to all students who participated on the day for a great effort. Our second Intermediate Girls Team lost only one game to the other Shepparton High School team! Congratulations to our winning teams:

Intermediate Girls: Tima Soi, Josephine Pata, Fale Fuatia, Angela Moananu, Sharvanah Satele and Maureen Simaika.

Senior Girls: Abi Soi, Nancy Falefata, Julia Pata, Celestial Iopu, Sija Kisimba, Amelia Mafi and Season Gregory.

Senior Boys: Ben Muaiava, Caleb Taulapapa, Sam Tuilioa, Matala Liu, Charlie Moananu, Liam Borg, Josh Jeffery and Sajad Almousawi

The teams are working hard training once a week at lunch time to practice their skills and strategies to be prepared for the next level of competition.
