From the Principal Team
Farewell Sandy Gunn
Shepparton High School sadly acknowledges the passing of our colleague and friend Sandy Gunn last week. Sandy was a respected and valued staff member of the Shepparton High School team and brought strong community links, vision and passion to all four secondary school communities in Greater Shepparton. She will be sadly missed.
Sandy’s role as chief executive of the Better Together Alliance for the past three years, involved building strong networks across the four secondary schools and the wider community, ensuring each of the school communities was well positioned to take advantage of future educational possibilities. Early this year Sandy was appointed as the Program Facilitator of the Fairley Leadership Program. In 2018 Sandy, completed the Fairley Leadership Program as part of her BTA role.
Shepparton High School staff, students and parents extend our sincere condolences to Sandy’s partner Gavin and to the extended Gunn family at this sad time.

- SPA Reports
SPA reports have been uploaded to Xuno. We encourage students and parents to study the results in each category for each subject and consider how well they have gone and how they might be able to improve as the semester progresses. The SPA report encourages this discussion not just between parents and students but also between students and their teachers. If you are having trouble accessing Xuno, please contact the school office.
Student Accident Insurance
Parents are reminded the Department of Education does not provide personal accident insurance for students. Parents and guardians are responsible for paying the cost of medical treatment for injured students, including transport costs. We recommend you seek assistance with this matter from your insurance broker or find a suitable personal accident insurer.
Winter Uniform
With the onset of cold weather nearly upon us, it is an appropriate time to remind parents and students to prepare their winter uniform.
We want the students to be warm in the approaching winter months so we urge you to plan early and have their winter uniform ready for wear when they return after the school holidays. Please name all items your student will bring to school.
We have a supply of second hand uniforms if you would like assistance please inquire at the school.
Please note hoodie windcheaters are not part of the school uniform and should not be worn to school.
