Year 7 Rookie Band

On Friday 2 December, the Year 7 Rookie Band attended the North Eastern Victorian Region Rookie Band Workshop held at Lilydale Heights Secondary College. It was a very successful day and all students enjoyed themselves thoroughly.

There were over sixty students from several schools who had been learning their instruments for around one year. They rehearsed together as a band and also participated in tutorials with the Instrumental Music staff.

The day ended with the band making a recording of the four new songs they learnt to play.

The Rookie Band also performed at the Orientation Day for the Grade 6 parents and at the Year 7 Awards Ceremony.  They are playing so well and sound fantastic.   What a fantastic year they have had. Congratulations and well done!  

2017 Instrumental Music students

The re-enrolment form, for the 2017 Instrumental Music students in Years 8 -12 will be given out at the start of next year.

2017 Music Awards

Congratulations to the following students who received Music Awards this year.

Year 8 students will be presented with their Music awards on Monday 19 December, at the Year 8 Awards Assembly.
